About Me

My name is Noah Han. I am a music major from St. Olaf College ('21) and I am currently working for Northern Star Scouting. I've lived in St. Louis Park, MN for about 2 years where I've enjoyed living with two excellent roommates. Over the last two years, I've learned about the joys of volunteer coordinating, the craze of pickleball, the routines of adult life in the city, and the blessings of working out salvation in Christ. For fun I like to embark on musical adventures, like starting a polka band with Olaf alumni called "Oles but Goodies," participating in a Gilbert and Sullivan Opera, or even a night at the local Twin Cities Beer Choir event. I keep pretty involved in Scouting, which is good considering that is my profession. I even keep in touch with my childhood hobbies like chess, napping, wearing monochromatic t-shirts, and walking a fine line between nerd and goofball. Hidden in the aggregate of all of that, I've spent countless minutes questioning, considering, and believing in an awesome God, who's son Jesus has saved me and transformed my life into one that is much more hopeful and joyful than one I'd had in high school and college. I've had a great network of family and friends from all walks of life help me in this process, but I have to shoutout Westgate Church in Plymouth, MN for offering an excellent community to grow spiritually. After a few refreshing years post-college where I've gotten to tackle adulthood head-on, its time for something new. This new isn't meant for me, even though it will be. It's meant for strangers across the globe, the Church, and most importantly for Jesus who told us to "go and make disciples of all nations." And so I embark on a quest, nay, a mission (cue the LOTR soundtrack) for the very first time. I've created this site to be able to blog, share, and even ask for prayers and funds (cue timeless Bernie Sanders meme) to help me in this process. Despite the cringe that is my writing style, I can assure you this is an area of growing passion for my life. I hope to be transformed in some way that I'll be able to go on more trips in the future. Any help - wisdom, donations, prayers, travel guides, even links to writing and website editing tutorials on Youtube - it's all helpful and greatly appreciated. Blessings.

"For a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries."

- 1 Corinthians 16:9
