Travel Itinerary:
- Training Camp (June 15th – July 1)
- Arequipa, Peru (July 1 – July 22)
- Lima, Peru (July 22 – July 26)
- Home (July 27)
My role: I will be the boys small group leader as a part of the leadership team on this mission. There will be 26 people including families, children, summer staff, nannies, and high school students ages 13-17. I will be leading a group of 7 boys. I will also be bringing my guitar so I can help lead worship. As the only member with an instrument I may be the de-facto worship leader on this trip.
Mission Work:
- Serving in Community Kitchens
- Running VBS programs for local schools.
- Leading English Language Learning Bible Studies
- Talking with strangers about the Gospel

Daily itinerary will include time for worship, bible study, and small group time.
The final week of the trip will be a debriefing week to allow students to reflect on their experience and see how the travel from Peru back to the United States might transform their perspective.
If the details of the trip seem fuzzy, it is because I truly don’t know 100% what I will expect to see on this trip, or what opportunities God will open up. Even after speaking with my team leader about what to expect, it sounds like plans can sometimes change depending on the needs of the community or the mission group.
