Royal Servants Summer Staff – Peru 2024

If you don’t already know me, my name is Noah Han. I currently live in St. Louis Park, MN and work for Northern Star Scouting. In a life-altering series of events, I found out about this opportunity to serve as a staff leader for a small group of high school boys on a mission to Peru. I found out three weeks ago, but I felt called to press pause on my summer in MN. As a result, it’s turned my life upside-down. There is a lot to prepare for. Below is a bit about my faith journey and why I feel called to go, as well as information about how you can help me!
Growing up in the church, I never really knew what it meant to be called to a mission. Since recommitting myself to my faith journey after college in 2022, I’ve spent the last 2 years growing in my faith. Now I’m beginning to understand what that calling means. Jesus sacrificed everything for the church (Matthew 20:28) and tells us that if we love him, we should feed his sheep (John 21:17). He calls us to go and spread the good news of Christ (Matthew 28:19). As a result, I’ve decided it is time to press pause on my life, my job, and my relationships, so that I can serve the world in a new way! In this journey I’ve discovered that to support the global church and serve on this mission, I can’t do it alone. I need the support of friends, family, and strangers that are interested in spreading the Gospel to others around the world. A bit about the program: The Royal Servants Program to Peru is a group ministry of staff, families, and students ages 13-18 that are being sent to support an existing missionary family partnered with Reign Ministries. After 2 weeks of training, we will be traveling to Lima and Arequipa for one month. There we will be doing service in the community such as running VBS programs, teaching English through a Bible study, working in community kitchens, or whatever else is needed!
My fundraising goal: $4,500. Trip date: June 15-July 27th.
